FORT BLISS, Texas —
(May 19, 2016) – Army Brig. Gen. Kurt S. Crytzer, commanding general of Joint Task Force North (JTF-N), will host the annual Fort Bliss Memorial Day Ceremony, May 30, 2016, to commemorate the selfless sacrifice of all U.S. service members, who gave their lives in the defense of the nation.
The ceremony, which will take place at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 5200 Fred Wilson Ave. on Fort Bliss, will begin at 9 a.m. Crytzer, who will deliver keynote remarks during the ceremony, will be available for media interviews at 8:40 a.m.
Media planning on covering this event should arrive no later than 8:30 a.m. Please use the Chaffey access control points for entry onto post. Contact the POC below for assistance on event coverage. Press access to the cemetery will be through the Haan Road gate, parking will be on the road behind the rostrum with overflow parking alongside the eastside of the cemetery wall (credentialed media personnel only).
