U.S. Army Col. Daniel Hall

Deputy Commanding Officer

U.S. Army Col. Daniel Hall has served with Joint Task Force North since 2021 and is currently the JTF-N deputy commanding officer. He also served as JTF-N’s intelligence director and operations director prior to assuming his current position. Col. Hall’s previous assignment included service at the Joint Advanced Warfighter School in Norfolk, Va. He commissioned into the U.S. Army in 1999 from Texas A&M University as an armor officer. Col. Hall served two combat tours with the 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment in Ramadi and Tal Afar, Iraq from 2003-2006, and served in various operational assignments including the following: tank platoon leader, scout platoon leader, armored cavalry troop commander, operations and executive officer (for the 3rd regiment, 21st Infantry Battalion), operations officer (for the 1st Brigade, 25th Infantry Division Stryker Brigade Combat Team), and battalion commander (for the 3rd Battalion, 362nd Armored Regiment at Fort Bliss, Tx). Col. Hall has also served in NATO’s Multinational Corps Northeast in Sczeczin, Poland from 2015 to 2016. He taught General Psychology and Engineering Psychology courses at the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY, from 2009 to 2012. While at the USMA, Col. Hall earned an academic promotion to associate professor. His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, a Master's of Science degree in Human Systems Integration, and a Master's of Science degree in Strategic Studies. He is a graduate of the Senior Service College, the Command and General Staff College, the Combined Arms Services Staff School, the Armor Captain’s Career Course, the U.S. Army Reconnaissance Course and the Armor Officer Basic Course.
